Two year old girl a Tablet PC expert user
submitted by Lora 284 days ago (via whatisnew.com)
Rob posted a link to this wonderful video of Kaylee, two year old, playing a game on a Tablet PC. She’s an expert pen user. Fantastic how she knows the objects she’s dragging are supposed to “stick” to the pen.

Twitter Images
submitted by Lora 284 days ago (via whatisnew.com)
Last night Loren asked me to try out the next stage in his Silverlight Twitter images app. He wrote a little bit more about the process, what’s working so far and what still needs work.

New URL for Incremental Blogger - LorenHeiny.com
submitted by Lora 284 days ago (via whatisnew.com)
Over the weekend we set up a new location for Incremental Blogger at LorenHeiny.com. Comment spam on the old Movable Type blog was overwhelming, so Loren had turned off comments. Of course, comments are half the fun and conversation. So, a vanity domain registered, old blog posts from April 2003 to current exported, and then [...]

Journal over PowerPoint in the Classroom
submitted by MobilePC 284 days ago (via feeds.feedburner.com)
Jim Vanides continues his video series for the Tablet PC. Everything discussed is possible on the UMPC, too. The second video demonstrates ideas for using Microsoft Journal in the classroom rather than a whiteboard or PowerPoint. The "stretchy" paper demonstrated is simplicity and impossible on a whiteboard. A second advantage (not discussed) is the lack of marker smell and not dealing w

Twitter an InkGram
submitted by Loren 284 days ago (via lorenheiny.com)
I posted a link to and a description of the InkGram Silverlight-based app yesterday. If you want to dig right in, here’s a temporary link to the InkGram app. Once again, the program (which requires Silverlight so it requires Windows or a Mac) enables you to post a handwritten message or simple drawing to Flickr and [...]

Technology Counter Sites Back In Action
submitted by MobilePC 283 days ago (via feeds.feedburner.com)
Last year Pligg (a Digg Clone) was installed on the domains Tablet PC Counter and UMPC Counter. The hope was to get article submissions specific to the Tablet PC and UMPC and have the community rate the articles - aka - digg.com style. The site failed because RSS imports were not available and the maintenance of the site was too great for the amount of time available. Plus, after posting to a blog,

VIDEO - MTube hands on
submitted by UltraMobileLife 283 days ago (via feeds.ultramobilelife.com)
I managed to snag one minute alone in a storage room with the MTube this afternoon. This thing is so small, I can't believe it's a full PC with a 1.0GHz processor. It just blows my mind having such a small device in my hands. Looking back over my video, the thing is so small that it makes my hands look rather large. I don't mind, the thing is going to be a blast to play with when it comes out. I h

Fitting a ‘better’ Cornell page template into OneNote
submitted by StudentTabletPC 282 days ago (via feeds.feedburner.com)
Well my migration over to OneNote is going pretty good. I’ve used it exclusively now in both of the scheduled 3 hour seminars I’ve attended so far, along with numerous other note-taking tasks, and I’ve got to say I’m thoroughly enjoying the experience and that’s without even getting my teeth into, shall we call it, [...]

VIDEO - OQO at Wired Nextfest 2007
submitted by UltraMobileLife 282 days ago (via feeds.ultramobilelife.com)
Last month, OQO attended the Wired Nextfest and came out with this little video recap of the fun time they had there. Looks like they were a big hit and lots of people enjoyed getting their first hands on experience with an OQO model 02.
