Fujitsu LifeBook U810 Tablet PC Review (Video)
submitted by TabletPCReview 397 days ago (via pheedo.com)
When Fujitsu announced the LifeBook U810 mini Tablet PC, I coudn't wait to get my hands on it. This tiny tablet has been getting rave reviews and after spending some time with it I can see why. I am not saying it would be a good permanent replacement to a full-size tablet or notebook, but it is a great travel companion.

Vista memory usage explanation
submitted by GottaBeMobile 397 days ago (via feeds.feedburner.com)
I complained in my recent review of my HP 2710P that the memory usage in Vista seemed really high, especially when compared to my usage in Windows XP. Today I came across an article describing the memory management in Vista and how it differs from Windows XP. Although I had heard about the new SuperFetch technology in Vista, it hadn't ever really clicked that the memory usage I saw in Task

Midlinux 2.0 on a Samsung Q1U
submitted by RodFather 397 days ago (via rodfathermobile.com)
Clayne Robison of Intel got his hands dirty and installed Midlinux 2.0 Beta 5 on his Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC.  What’s interesting is it comes with a browser called Coolfox.  Mozilla based perhaps?  He even was able to get Skype working.    I got a copy of Midinux 2.0 Beta 5 the other day, so I [...]

Fujitsu LifeBook T2010 Tablet PC
submitted by TabletPCTalk 396 days ago (via tabletpctalk.com)
The front-mounted battery that I liked so much in laptop mode turned into a bit of a liability in tablet mode, since I'm a right-hander who doesn't like having a left-side grip. You can rotate the unit 180 degrees so the grip is on the right, but then all the tablet buttons are in a nonstandard configuration on the bottom. One fix: Buy the six-cell battery in addition to the nine-cell battery, so

Midinux 2.0 on a Q1Ultra
submitted by Intel 394 days ago (via softwareblogs.intel.com)
I got a copy of Midinux 2.0 Beta 5 the other day, so I took the plunge and blasted the OS that came pre-installed on my Q1Ultra. Installation was relatively painless, although I wished that there was a little more flexibility when it came to choosing which packages to install. But then, that's only because I've [...]

Everun docking station is a sweet little number
submitted by UMPCPortal 394 days ago (via umpcportal.com)
Everun fans rejoice. The docking station and car mount is nearly finished.I've just received these images of the Raon Digital Everun docking station. They are renders of course so there's obviously a few things missing (like the connector for example!) and the possibility that the end result could look slightly different but it looks like they are going for an ultra portable solution rather than a
